Despite the fact that the traditional Independence Day cookout in the regional park is out, residents can still cook outside on personal home. Fire pits should always be fueled by natural gas, and outside grills can operate only on liquid propane or charcoal.


A hodgepodge of fire restrictions at the county stage signifies countless of the campsites on U.S. Forest Services lands had previously banned campfires.


Teller County is underneath Stage 2 fire restrictions, that means no campfires. On Wednesday, Woodland Park also enacted Stage two fire restrictions.
